<aside> <img src="/icons/report_red.svg" alt="/icons/report_red.svg" width="40px" /> Notes:

  1. Try to do 10-30 min of social skill exercises per day.
    1. A minimum of 1/2 that time in ‘productive’ exercises.
    2. There are 2 types of exercises.
      1. Productive - talking, ideaing, thinking, questioning.
      2. Consumptive - reading, looking, observing, listening.
  2. Identify your weaknesses. Ask for outside opinions if you can (ask them to be blunt, because most people won’t want to hurt your feelings).
  3. You want to feel ‘brain fatigue’. Like your brain can’t produce what you want. It is very uncomfortable. THIS is the sign that your brain is growing. It’s exactly what you want (even though it isn’t comfortable). Find the fatigue and keep going until your daily exercises are complete.
  4. Fundamental conversation & friendship skills are:
    1. Asking interesting questions.
    2. Saying interesting things.
    3. Finding similarities with others.
    4. Reading people’s non-spoken behavior. </aside>
